Grinding 11.50$ Turbos

Had a few more attempts at the 23$ with the same old break even story, I feel that I'm playing good but for some reason shit doesn't seem to be coming my way. Here's a graph of my bodog
23$ adventure.

Results are looking pretty wack in comparison to my $11.50 graphs on stars and bodog

$858 profit over 549 games not bad, obviously not the amounts im looking for in the long run but fine for now. So I've decided that ill stick to what im good at for the time being and stay at the 11.50 turbos for the whole of may since im way more comfortable playing them and can easilly play a much larger volume since I tilt less and don't need to take as many breaks. So my goal for may is to play 600 games over the month, normally I play around 350 or so, so 600 will be a nice little challenge.

Bodog yay or nay?

Its been a weird week, started off with my roll dropping from around $1300 to about $1077(yeah not good) bad runs at the 20 seem like a constant recurrence, it was o bad i had to even drop down to the $5 just to get my mind back, managed to grind back to around $1130 then whey $150 new year sign up bonus finally cleared. After clearing this bonus I decided to leave pokerstars in search of better bonus deals and rakeback tried to create another account at full tilt (old one had no rake back) which resulted in them instantly closing my account with the money in it now im still waiting for the money back. following the advice of a 2+2er i decided to join bodog which apparently was over abundant with fish, which is defiantly true, here I have encountered the worst players in my life, the $22+1 here seem softer than the $10 at full tilt, all in all playing here has brought me up to $1479. Hopefully if i continue to run well over the next 50-100 games ill move up to the $33+1.50

Heads Up Headache!

I learnt a very valuble heads up lesson yesterday, when playing heads up, only play when you can play your A/B game. Normally I can play around 15 heads up sngs in a short period of time playing my A/B game after that it actually starts to physically hurt my head then my C/D/E game starts to get in and and can literally see the money going down the drain. Yesterday I got off to a flying start up $110 dollars after about 15 games, I have $150 sign up bonus that i have to clear on my pokestars account and since the $20 games on pokerstars hadnt been going my way I decided once I had cleared this bonus I would move my roll to full tilt and take advantage of thier $600 sign up bonus and 27% rakeback. I had to play around 50 more games in order ot clear the $150 bonus on stars so I tried to get it all done yesterday. After the 1st 20 games, everything started to flall apart, i was palying worse than them guys on sharkscope with the big fish bowls next to thier name, yet I still kept playing in order to clear the bonus, the result? the graph speaks for itself

So from this, in future when I anticipate my C game or worse kicking in I will end the session, do something else until I feel fit enough to play. F.Y.I ive got about 20 more games to play before ive cleared the bonus, them im off to tilt for some rakeback.

Heads Up!

Hey guys im Chris from london and have been playing poker for around 10 months now. I started off a losing player and blew my bank roll of about $150, I then joined Pokerstrategy.comwhere I signed up and got the $50 sign up bonus and learned how to play 9 man sngs, from these + playing 6 max cash I've built my roll up to over $1000. From loooking at peoples sharkscopes heads up sngs seems like the only variation where people seem to make alot of money on a constant basis, so this is the game I plan to focus my attention on. I started playing from the 2$ heads up sngs now im in between the 10$ and 20$ husngs.

This graph shows my overall progress with heads up sngs from the $2-$20 buy in level. alot of the dips have been caused by me going on bad runs at the $20 level. I think the skill level at the 20s is similar to the 10s but I think i play worse at the $20 knowing that I am playing with twice as much money.
Below is my heads up graph up to $11

im currently destroying them with an 18% roi, if only the same could be said about the 20$+
This has been my bad run at the $20+ games, I think i have been putting the pussy of playing higer stakes on a pedestal too much, then end up not bringing my a game, then when I lose more than 3 matches in a row I start playing ultra bad. When I play the $10 games I can lose like 4 games in a row and still remain calm and collected ready to play another game, it is this demeanor I need to bring to the $20 games.

This graph shows my overall progress on pokerstars, one of the sites I play on.

Right now I am crushing the $11 turbos and feeling really confident with my game, I will make the transition into the $20 games, this time instead of just playing a whole load of $20 games in a row, I will just play a few $11 then when I feel like i'm playing well, mix in a few $23s, then some $11s and so on, that way I can get more used to playing higher stakes and play them when I am playing my A game
