$20s and SCOOP

Played the scoop $16 event today, got bodied in the 1st round by a guy who was pretty solid mainly a mtt player with like $9k winnings or something like that but he still played heads up like a wasteman, I felt like I had a big edge and was always thinking one step ahead of him throughout the 30 or so hands we played then this hand came about

He started 3 betting me pretty light so I knew that flop hit him with a draw or a pair of some sort, so I was not looking to give him a cheap price to pay hence the raise on the flop, then obviously he made a mistake of calling with his open ender with like 30% equity, then decides to spazz out then shoves the turn when it bricks and by magic he hits his straight like what has been happening to me all day today and yesterday, but its okay that's how it goes, its nothing to a bawsssss you win some and you lose some although that $22,593.89 1st place prize money would have looked pretty nice in my backpack.

Another interesting hand occurred in a 1$ 16 man satellite for the $16 scoop

A bit of background information, I could sense that I had him on tilt with my continuous raising and c betting, so he started insta 3 betting me and insta c betting me, then he insta bet the flop that automatically told me he didn't have the queen because if he did he would have taken fractions of a second longer to bet, so I played my pair of jacks as if it were top pair, then with his shove on the river I assumed I was ahead unless he rivered trips or 2 pair or something and so was an easy call.
I've been playing $20s again keep getting sucked out on with straight draws and stuff but it's okay because I'm just aiming to feel comfortable playing at the limit, if i win then its a bonus, I just at least want to break even for now and emphasize correct decision making, I will focus on taking out these wastemen after. I've played 6x20$ today and won 3 lost 3. one of the ones I lost, I went all in with AQ preflop got called by AT and he hits a T on the flop obv. In on of the other games I got it in on the flop with TT and the guy calls with an open ended straight draw and guess what happened? he hit! So yeah today not been a good day for variance but however I am happy about the decisions I've made since they were all the mathematically correct ones just results wise, they just didn't go my way (I'm trying to adopt a less results orientated mindset see)

This tune is bien loco
